Abstract
This year’s MIX conference was as big as any. With announcements about IE9, IE10, Silverlight 5, and the next version of Windows Phone, there is plenty of news that applies to you. In this 60 minute presentation, Jeff Blankenburg is going to attempt to bring you up to speed on the things you need to know from Mix, with a heavy emphasis on HTML 5, Silverlight, and Windows Phone. The best part of this presentation is avoiding Las Vegas, where Jeff dropped 300 irresponsible dollars on the craps tables.

As a Developer Evangelist, he has the unique responsibility to consult and advise software developers about the new tools, technologies, and practices available to them. The conference room behind the receptionist desk will be open and available for members who would like to spend their time at CONDG pair coding with other attendees. This will be a self-organizing session among the attendees; feel free to use the comments section to make arraignments to meet up and discuss things to work on before hand. Or, just show up and code! Whatever you feel comfortable with. This is YOUR time.
